What will the true bypass mod and calibration do for the Mu-Tron III ? :
When the original Mutron III is in bypass mode the signal is taken from the first gain stage and is affected by the gain control. The true bypass mod makes a direct connection from the input jack to the output jack when in bypass mode without loading down the signal in any way. The effect active light option is installed just below and to the left of the power switch and has a choice of red, green or blue LEDs. The calibration restores the top frequency of the sweep to factory specifications and makes it sound as intended by Mu-Tron. The Mu-Tron III's with power cords need further calibration and mods to make them sound as intended.
